Latitude 32 Industry Zone
The State Government's Latitude 32 Industry Zone is an opportunity for major industrial growth and will provide significant economic support in the Kwinana region, and more broadly across Western Australia.
It will cover some 1,400ha of land, and will provide space for existing industry to expand, especially industry facing limited land in the Kwinana Industrial Area, and also new businesses looking to locate to the region.
As a world-class industry zone, Latitude 32 will be an attractive destination for potential employers and employees alike. It will comprise closely linked precincts that include a variety of complementary uses and functions, including general industry, transport industry, a commercial centre, eco-industry, a business park, resource recovery, and parks and recreation.

Kwinana Industrial Area
Industry has invested heavily in Kwinana with around $3.1 billion invested over the last 11 years. Looking forward, Kwinana industry has identified plans for capital expenditures of around $2.5 billion over the next 10 years, including upgrades and replacements, and, investments in new plants.
Capital investment by Kwinana industry is a significant direct stimulus to the Western Australian economy. This is in addition to that which occurs from operations each year, generating thousands of ongoing jobs in a variety of supporting industries. Over 75% of this expenditure is with Western Australian suppliers.
